Meet Laura
Welcome to OT Rehab and Recovery Specialists. I’m Laura, a qualified Occupational Therapist passionate about helping people regain independence, rebuild strength, and rediscover confidence after injury or illness
I’m Laura, an accredited Occupational Therapist with a master’s degree. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT).
I am the founder of OT Rehab & Recovery Specialists, a team dedicated to helping clients recover, rise, and radiate. Through evidence-based rehabilitation and holistic wellness practices, I empower individuals to regain independence, strength, and confidence — blending clinical expertise with practical, real-world solutions that transform lives.
I have extensive experience in rehabilitation, working with thousands of clients across various occupational therapy services in both NHS and private sectors. My career has included roles at leading London hospitals, including the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Guy’s and St Thomas’, Imperial College London, and Chelsea and Westminster.
Transitioning into independent practice has allowed me to broaden my expertise in working with case managers, writing comprehensive reports, and developing entrepreneurial skills to actively promote and advance rehabilitation services within the community.
My journey into occupational therapy was deeply personal. When my mother became ill, an occupational therapist gave us more than strategies—she gave us hope. That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others regain independence and return to the activities that matter most.
I know how challenging it can be to watch a loved one struggle, and I understand the difference the right support can make. My mission is to provide expert occupational therapy that supports independence in every part of life.
With compassion and expertise, I empower individuals throughout their recovery journey. Today, as an OT rehab and recovery specialist, I help people rebuild strength, restore confidence, and make daily life easier—one step at a time.
